Preparing your villa ahead of the shoot helps us create the best possible images to showcase your property and maximize its marketing potential. Please use this checklist to ensure your villa is photo-ready:
General Cleaning
- Deep clean all interior spaces (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas)
- Clean glass surfaces (windows, mirrors, glass doors) — no fingerprints or smudges
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Dust furniture, light fixtures, and decor
Declutter & Organize
- Remove personal items (toiletries, family photos, paperwork)
- Tuck away remotes, chargers, cables
- Clear countertops and tables
- Hide cleaning supplies, garbage bins, laundry baskets
Bedrooms
- Make all beds neatly with clean, ironed linens
- Arrange decorative pillows and throws
- Tidy bedside tables — minimal decor only
- Hide personal items in drawers or closets
Bathrooms
- Clear counters of toiletries
- Use matching fresh towels neatly folded or hung
- Clean glass shower doors and mirrors
- Close toilet lids
Kitchen & Dining
- Clear counters except for decorative items (bowl of fruit, flowers)
- Hide dish soap, sponges, and dish racks
- Style dining table with place settings or a decorative centerpiece
- Wipe all surfaces and appliances
Outdoor Spaces
- Skim pool — no leaves or debris
- Arrange pool loungers and cushions neatly
- Remove garden tools, hoses, and pool cleaning equipment
- Sweep terraces and pathways
- Fluff outdoor cushions and arrange furniture attractively
Lighting & Ambiance
- Replace any burned-out light bulbs
- Check all light fixtures are working
- Adjust curtains or blinds for soft natural light (we will fine-tune during the shoot)
- Optional: add fresh flowers or fruit for a lifestyle touch
Final Checks
- Turn off ceiling fans (they can blur in photos)
- Set air conditioning temperature to comfortable level
- Pets should be out of sight during the shoot
- Final walkthrough to check for any stray items
On the Day of the Shoot
- The villa should be fully prepped 1 hour before the shoot
- Villa staff or manager available for access (but not present in shots)
- If possible, avoid any scheduled maintenance or noisy work during the session
